Available for the Aures POSligne 1500 and Odyssé, This side mounted smart card reader, magnetic card reader and Dallas Key reader is a neat and tidy way to keep track of promotions, loyalty schemes and improve the security of your till by only allowing Dallas key holders access, and logging every transaction made - and who made it.

The Dallas Key Reader is particularly useful when there are multiple operators using the same till, such as in the hospitality professions. Each user has a unique magnetic key, which is attached to their clothing with a retractable elastic cord.

For a user to access the till, they place their Dallas Key on to the small magnetic plate. This grants access to the KCPOS till interface.

Each Dallas Key is unique, and comes pre-configured by Aures. The keys can not have the data on them altered, so they are perfectly secure in the sense that they can not be reprogrammed or copied.

The Dallas key has another trick up its sleeve. The key can be removed mid-transaction to lock the till screen again immediately. To resume access to the till, and the transaction, just replace the dallas key. All of the previously logged products on the tab will still be there, and as each Dallas Key is unique, each user will have their own tab stored if their Key is removed.

The side unit also comes with a 3-track magnetic swipe card reader, ideal for customer loyalty card schemes and membership cards. The unit is programmable as to which track is used for different types of cards.

Also featured is a drop-in smart card reader, which again can be used for loyalty schemes and customer reward programs.
